Projects

I have many personal projects that I like to work on around the clock. Several are related to multimedia. I have taught myself many different things. Eventually I will have many skills that will allow me to be very versatile.

Some of the multimedia projects that I currently am working on are:

• Windows
  • Customizing the OS
  • Develop Recovery Kit
  • Home Networking
  • Freeware-driven Video Library
• Unix/Linux
  • Use on older Computers
  • Several Distributions

I have several other projects that I would like to start, but are somewhat on the back burner since I am starting my graduate studies and will need to put most of my attention on that. But some of the projects that I plan on doing in the future is creating a home network capable of streaming all my media to several different places from one general server. I would also like to learn how to develop flash as I see there are many good things coming from flash such as interactive games and web pages. What I would like to do is develop a flash environment for engineering that can be used for various things. With the development of the web becoming more powerful day by day, more complex programs can be demonstrated through the web. Although, there are still task which require far more power to be placed inside a browser, but it's a start.

My interest are not only in multimedia however. The main reason that I became interested in engineering are automobiles. I currently own a jeep which I have plans for after I finish my school work. I have several ideas in my head and notebooks that I can not wait to start on, but I really want to earn my Master's in mechanical engineering before moving to those steps. More 'hands on' things that I want to accomplish in my life are:

• overall better metal working

Until then, I have several projects that can be continued on in a small apartment.
