I'm a second year Master's student working in the Buerkle lab, interested in computational biology and population genetics (and stand-up comedy and football too, the real kind). I will be moving to the University of Chicago in the fall of 2020 to start my PhD in the Committee on Genetics, Genomics and Systems Biology program.
Backstory: I arrived in the United States as an international student from Bangalore, India back in the fall of 2014 to start my Electrical Engineering degree. Along the way, I picked up a minor in Computational Science (and plenty of life lessons!) and graduated in December 2017.
